TIOUT TAROUDANT FROM AGADIR

We’ll collect you from your hotel in Agadir at 9 am and head towards Taroudant, a fortified city one hour and half away. During the journey, we cross the majestic Atlas mountain range and make a brief stop at a citrus fruit and banana plantation in the Souss Valley.

When we arrive at Taroudant, marvel at the elegant gateways to the walled city. We cross the 11th century red-coloured walls that surround the medina and try a delicious Moroccan breakfast prepared from a base of natural orange juice, mint tea and pastries.

Walking through the busy streets of Taroudant, we arrive at the Assarag Square in the heart of the city. Here is where the market is located, where you will have the opportunity to get to know the traditional handicrafts and products of the area: rugs, species, and Argan oil.
Once you have haggled and bargained with market sellers, you will have free time to explore the city at your own leisure

After the visit of Taroudant, we will drive to the Oasis and the Kasbah (fortress) of Tiout, where a very tasty lunch is waiting for us.
After lunch break, it will be the right time to stroll through the palm trees on a donkey ride and around the Kasbah where the movie of Ali Baba and 40 thieves was filmed in the 50s.
The return to the hotel is scheduled around 5 o’clock in the evening.
