Ouarzazate is a city out of the bowels of the earth, in the middle of the desert in the south of the Kingdom, with a variety of decorations as elusive as breathtaking, burning sand, snow-capped peaks, palm groves and green oases, haughty ksours, fortified villages, and sumptuous kasbahs, it is all the idyllic charm of a city from another millennium. Two magnificent kasbahs hook the traveler, dazzled by so many beauties: that of Taourirt and that of Aït Ben Haddou, located 30 km from the city. UNESCO has listed these two kasbahs as World Heritage. In Ouarzazate, provided with splendid and luxurious hotels, you can stop off before venturing into the desert where all kinds of sensations enhance the trip.
From Marrakech, enjoy the beautiful landscapes and impressive panoramic views from the High Atlas. The first stop will be the summit of Tizi n’Tichka located at an altitude of 2260m, break, and continuation to the Kasbah of Telouet. Explore the Kasbah with its authentic alleys and adobe houses, then head towards the fortified village of Ait ben Haddou: a UNESCO World Heritage site, which has been used in the filming of famous films including Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator. You will spend the night in a typical hotel in the city of Ouarzazate, dinner included.
After breakfast, departure for a visit to the Taourirt Kasbah and the Cinema Studio in Ouarzazate. You will then go to the oasis of Fint renowned for its small villages of a narrow and charming palm grove that stretches along the Fint wadi. After, you will visit the Tifoultoute fortress to enjoy a sumptuous view from the kasbah terrace over the entire Ouarzazate wadi valley. End of the excursion, you will return to Marrakech at the end of the day.
If you are staying in the historic centre you should meet at the Café de France in the Jemaa el-Fnaa Square. If you are staying outside the historic centre we will come and pick you up for free.
