Departure from your hotel in the morning at 8 a.m. Arrival in Marrakech, free lunch. Then depart to the south via the High Atlas via the TICHKA pass 2260m, with magnificent landscapes and panoramic views. Arrival at Ait Ben haddou and visit the famous Ksar (fortified village) of Ait Benhaddou. Continue to Ouarzazate. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Breakfast, then visit the Taourirt Kasbah. Then you will continue your journey towards the Draa Valley and the city of Zagora crossing the Anti Atlas via the Tiniffift pass 1660 m above sea level. Arrival at the bivouac in Zagora before sunset for a camel ride. You will witness a great sunset over the dune. Dinner and overnight in bivouac under Berber tent.
After sunrise and breakfast, you will visit the village of Tamgroute renowned for its Koranic school, the old library, and the potters’ district. Then you walk along the Draa valley with its beautiful date palms and the fields of Henna. Then you will cross the Anti Atlas again. Finally, you will cross the High Atlas to return to Marrakech. Night and dinner in Marrakech.
Following breakfast, your day unfolds with a choice between a city tour or leisurely free time. Embark on an exploration of the vibrant souks, where the hues of exquisite handicrafts paint a mesmerizing tapestry as you traverse the labyrinthine alleys of the medina. Venture next to the famed Djemaa El Fna square—an animated hub of entertainment and merriment that comes alive well into the night. No visit would be complete without a stop at the iconic Koutoubia mosque, an unmissable religious monument that stands as a guiding beacon for tourists, aiding in navigation through the city’s enchanting maze.
Visit of the Bahia Palace: which is best known for the richness of its architecture. Its construction is recent, 19th century, and was inspired by Arabic and Andalusian styles. Visit of Menara gardens: Menara is the most important olive grove in the city. La Menara shelters a basin, which abounds in water coming from the mountains. The place is perfect for walks. You can come and relax in this beautiful corner of the greenery.
